Introduction

If you’re expecting a quick answer and quick read, then perhaps twitter or tik tok might be more up your alley .  But unfortunately this is a big, heavy question that often gets small, light-weight answers.  This devo became so large that it’s been broken up into 4 parts that tackle some different topics within the broader theme of evil, pain, and suffering.  There is a lot of toxic theology surrounding this question and I think it’s important to do our due diligence in reflecting on this topic… especially as we take some time today to remember, reflect, and pray about the September 11th terrorist attacks from 20 years ago.
