Charity Lopez: Associate/FINANCE Director

Charity is a UCF graduate in Elementary Education - GO KNIGHTS! She taught first grade for 7 years in a Title 1 School before coming to work at Wesley. In 2012, Erwin and Charity got married and they have two beautiful children, Cruz and Arie. Charity always knew she wanted to be in ministry with her husband but never knew what that would look like until the opportunity came up with Wesley at UCF in 2013. While Charity was at UCF, she attended a college ministry that had such a huge impact on her life and to this day those friends are some of her closest friends. So having the opportunity to give back to a similar ministry, was exciting and very meaningful to her. Although she has many roles at Wesley, leading the Hospitality Team, discipling students, and planning events are what she enjoys most. Some of her favorite hobbies include: hammocking, hanging out by the pool, eating at locally owned restaurants, and playing board games/sports. She hopes that anyone who comes to Wesley (no matter where there are in life) feels welcomed, loved and accepted.
